What is a car show without its sexy car models? Shanghai Auto Show decided to ban them, and so automakers replaced the models with 'sales reps' instead. Basically, they're the same, but with a different title to their job.

How are these not car models? Will calling them sales reps be any better?


And if sales reps are supposed to look like this, it certainly isn't happening all the time.


The rule was put in order to make the automobiles the main attraction.


Which makes us wonder if people actually go to these things to see the car models only.


Probably not.


The cars are definitely sexier.


But eye candy is probably necessary.


Which is why "car models" aren't going to lose their jobs anytime soon.
