Kanye West and his wife Kim Kardashian has been put on TIME's list of '100 Most Influential People,' joining the ranks of some people who were truly inspirational. But do these two deserve to be on it?

Malala Yousafzai definitely belongs there.


Pope Francis too. He's an okay dude.


Taylor Swift is on it too. She sold 1.287 million copies of her new album in a week.


Christopher Nolan was on it too.


But then, what is Kim Kardashian doing on the list?


“Every year we hope the TIME 100 will introduce you to influential people you might not have met before and encourage you to find out more about them,” said TIME Editor Nancy Gibbs.

Still don't understand why Kim Kardashian is on this list.

Kanye West was on it too, the same guy who thinks Beck's Grammy win is a shade on artistic integrity.
