Yes, even Hello Kitty has gone up to space already. She made a trip up there as part of an awesome junior high school experiment. Launched up high by seventh grader Lauren Rojas and her classmates, the high altitude balloon had one seat for a one Hello Kitty.

Even her "rocket launcher" looks cool.


She was sent up using a weather balloon.


It rose up really high, at around 10,000 feet, it was blasted with high-velocity winds.


At 28,357 meters, the balloon ruptured. But Hello Kitty was enjoying her view by then.
