Sensitive Guy Gives His GF 365 Romantic Notes

As far as romance goes, this guy is probably the most sensitive and romantic one. He wrote 365 love notes to his girlfriend and put them in a mason jar. Is this a tad much though?
He filled up the mason jar below with the notes:

It does feel like the kind of gesture one would do in high school.
