Air travel has all kinds of rules you need to follow, but service on-board an airline may differ from one to the other. That's what sets them apart. Korean Air may have just earned a title in being the most dramatic airline
because of what its vice president did.
The vice president, is also the daughter of its owner. Cho Hyun-ah reported went batshit crazy...over a bag of nuts. No joke here.
This is Korean-drama level.
In what can only be explained as unbelievable, a Korean Air flight was set to depart New York's John F. Kennedy airport when Cho, who was seated first class was served a pack of macadamia nuts.
But really, the crazy part isn't the nuts, but how it was presented to her. It was served IN THEIR PACKAGE. Holy shit. That's just super wrong. It should be in a dish or a tray!
Cho couldn't stand the sight of this, and went American Psycho crazy and took the cabin attendant to task to be removed from the flight.
The attendant said that she just following procedure written in the employee handbook, so Cho demanded to be shown that passage on the plane's tablet devices.
It's in the handbook, bitch!
It's tough to do anything when you have an angry demon breathing down your neck, so this agitated Cho even more, and she ordered the cabin crew chief to get off the plane, which was hard since the plane had left the gate already.
The plane had to return to the terminal, and it was 11 minutes late to land at Incheon. And just like a Korean drama, she may be looking at legal charges according to Korea's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport.
This is Korean drama in real-life. Come on..take a chill pill.
Cho has since resigned from her position amid public criticism.
