The Economist made a graphic of the hidden cost of the Gangnam Style music video - the most popular video of all time. They compare the video's length to some of humanity's most monumental tasks.
With more than 2 billion views and at 4:12 minutes, it represents more than 140m hours, or 16,000 years. That means, we could have built 20 Empire State Buildings, 6 Burj Khalifas, 4 Great Pyramids of Giza, 3 Gerald R. Ford-Class nuclear aircraft supercarriers, and a Wikipedia and a half.
