One Piece Manga Pays Tribute and Sends Off Naruto in Latest Chapter

After 15 years, Masashi Kishimoto's Naruto has come to its final end. They released the last two chapters in this year's 50th issue of Shonen Jump. It's sad to see Naruto end, and even other mangas are sad too. Eiichiro Oda's One Piece created a very classy send off for Naruto.
Can you spot it:
The first characters on each of the menu signs in the background say "Naruto Otsukaresan deshita".
The signs read: “Nasu no itame” (eggplant stir-fry), “Rukkora no sarada” (arugula salad), “Tofu,” “Otsumami” (bar snacks) “Karee,” (Curry) “San,” (written as the character for ‘three’), “Den…,” “Shōyū no” (soy sauce, with the first character reading ‘shi‘), and “tamago” (egg).
That phrase is an informal way of saying, “Naruto, good job after working so long.”
Even the Konoha symbol is featured on One Piece's title page along with a silhouette of Naruto himself.
Goodbye, Naruto. Thanks for 15 years of entertainment.

That uncertainty can be especially difficult when the job involves physical labor and every week away from work affects household stability. Read more
