U2, the band that just won't quit, too old to rock, and has lyrics that are lazy, don't mean much and really just feature lead singer Bono's "ooohhs" and "aahhhs" have just made history. Half a billion people, most of which who didn't want to own a U2 album, now owns one because they just gave it away for free.
U2 just invaded your privacy. Giving you stuff you didn't want.
The band performed their new song "The Miracle (of Joey Ramone)" off their new album, Songs of Innocence. They revealed they would be giving it away for free on iTunes right away.
Then the Internet chimed in.
Because who cares about U2 anyway these days?
