It goes without saying that getting tasered hurts like hell. And while how photographer Patrick Hall managed to convince people to get hit with a 300,000 volt taser is still a mystery, they even allowed him to make a slow-motion video out of it.

Hall said the taser was strong enough to get the facial expressions he wanted but not powerful enough to hurt the participants.

This guy has fear on his face.

This guy looks ready.

This woman seems scared and nervous.

Then the tasering began. It looked more like a face of pleasure than pain, somehow.

Is this, this guy's O-face?

Do we all make the same faces in pain and joy?

The nervous woman from before looks....satisfied?
