This isn't the kind of thing you should be trying when you're scuba diving, but this video of a diver sending a shark to sleep with a touch of its nose is just pure magic. The diver uses a technique called tonic immobility, where he basically holds the sweet spot on the shark's nose to put it in a trance. It works! No idea if it works with bigger predator-ish sharks.
