The latest campaign for the Winter Olympics has stirred up quite a bit of controversy, mainly because it consists of Russia's "most photogenic" female athletes posing in their skivvies.


Critics think the photos are sending out the wrong message by celebrating these athletes for their looks instead of their achievements.

The Russian team said the images are meant to challenge the idea that women athletes can’t be sexy and “feminine.” We doubt that the Russian male athletes would feel the same way if they were asked to pose in their undies.
