Good manners are pretty universal. You should give way and let an elderly or special needs person take your seat for example. The Japanese society is filled with a multitude of customs. But just so no one forgets them, Tokyo Metro rolled out a series of posters to gently school the commuters in the right direction of how to properly ride the subway.
The 2013 series of posters started last April and will continue until March of this year. They feature a brightly colored background with heart shaped cutouts that form the border of a simple one panel cartoons covering a wide range of not-good-manners you shouldn't follow.
