Nike partnered up with gold medal sprinter Michael Johnson to refine speed and make football players faster. The result is the 40 Yard Dash Project and the creation of the Vapor Laser Talon.
Nike is going one step further with the brand new Vapor Carbon 2014 Elite. It uses a modified version of the "V-Plate" pattern seen in the Vapor Laser Talon, and a new cleat adopted for multi-directional explosiveness thanks to a decopled forefoot.
The full-length carbon fiber plate enhances both energy-return and propulsion while a one-piece upper and Dynamic Flywire allow for a supportive, second-skin fit.
The Nike Vapor Carbon 2014 Elite is now available via Nike’s online store for $150 USD.
