Idol groups VIXX and Boys Republic will participate in a charity campaign for the needy in Vietnam.

According to their respective agencies, the two groups have been chosen as the honorary ambassadors for SBS MTV and Standard Chartered Bank’s ‘Eye Camp Expedition’. The groups will contribute in the campaign as well as join the volunteer team who will help the visually impaired people in Vietnam.

The Eye Camp Expedition is a part of Standard Chartered Bank’ ‘Seeing is Believing’ project which aims to prevent such instances of eyesight loss. The campaign will launch volunteer work session that involves eyesight recovery operation, building habitats for people in needs, installing drinking water storage tanks and other charity works in Vietnam.
