Looking for that perfect bustier to hold in your magnificent man-chichis? Then you might want to check out
Wishroom, a new Japanese online retailer that has just celebrated its launch two weeks ago.
The retailer provides floral-pattern bras and silk nightgowns, all of which can be
worn discreetly under your regular clothes. And business is definitely booming, with more than 300 men's bras already sold for $30 a piece.
Executive Director Akiko Okunomiya told
Reuters that she hadn't expected such a strong demand among male customers:
"I think more and more men are becoming interested in bras. Since we launched the men's bra, we've been getting feedback from customers saying 'wow, we'd been waiting for this for such a long time'," she said.
As expected, the sudden popularity of bras for men has also incited a series of pointless online debates on whether men should wear bras. We say to each their own.
