What you're looking at (above) is a horse fetus on the 85th day of gestation. This incredible image was taken by an extraordinary photographer, Tim Flach. It looks strangely beautiful and almost magical albeit alien-like. According to Smithsonianmag:
“I was very lucky to find something that has a gesture about it,” Flach says of the porcelain doll-like fetus, aged 85 days, lying in peaceful repose.
