We all have that one, or ten friends that are constantly posting baby pictures and posts on social media. According to a study by Experian, mothers with children under 5 are the most active compared to the general public.
They are twice as likely to post comments on social-networking sites than the everyone else, according to the
study.
“We found in the analysis that Facebook is overwhelmingly the preferred social-media network for moms with young kids,” Suzanne Blackburn, a spokesperson for Experian Marketing Services said.
The company collected its data from a survey conducted by the Simmons National Consumer Study and also aggregated data from Hitwise.
But perhaps the most comforting finding is that social media activity starts to decrease as a mother's children ages.
