Fans of the fashion designer were pretty psyched to learn that she'd be appearing in a Google+ Hangout to discuss her fall collection.
It was an impressive well-orchestrated affair. Diane Von Furstenberg and Lucky magazine editor-in-chief Eva
Chen conducted the first shoppable Google+ Hangout at the designer's studio in New York's Meatpacking district, the first in a
series to be held by CFDA designers.
Besides answering pre-screened questions
about her career and inspiration, viewers of this
hangout also had a chance to browse or
buy exclusive pieces from the DVF Fall '14 collection.
This isn't the first time that Von Furstenberg has teamed up with
Google. When she was introduced to Google Glass at the Sun Valley
conference in the summer of
2012, she thought they were
"amazing," and decided to put Glass on the runway.
