What it Really Feels Like When the Person You Love is with Somebody Else

Let's be honest. Unrequited love sucks, especially when the
person you want to be with is already seeing somebody else. And it sucks tenfold when that somebody else is someone you know and/or meet on a regular basis.
But we're here to tell you that you're not alone, because we've all been there, and understand how you feel:
Everyone gets crushes, but you're convinced that this is somehow different.
You just know they were meant to be with you.
You can't put a finger on why you're so crazy about them...
But just being in the same room with them makes you feel alive.
If only you had the guts to tell them how much they mean to you...
But you can't because you know it would be too risky/awkward/weird.
Then their significant other decides to show up.
Just the thought of them being all lovey-dovey with each other...
Makes you feel like...
... you're slowly dying on the inside.
You're constantly comparing yourself to their S.O.
While dreaming of the day they break up so you can finally make your move.
But the reality is that there's really nothing you can do to make that person fall for you.
Sometimes the feeling just isn't there, so try not to take it personally. Stop torturing yourself.
The sooner you realize this, the sooner you'll be able to accept the situation and move on.
Because one day, hopefully, you'll reach a point where you can genuinely feel happy for them, even if that happiness does not include you.
But in time, the void in your heart that you've been saving for them will be filled by someone else who is really meant to be with you.
