Absurd: Indonesian High School Educator Proposes "Virginity Tests" To Prevent Teen-Sex

How's this for absurd? An Indonesian education official proposed an idea that would eradicate teen sex forever: by forcing female senior high school students to undergo "virginity tests" so that they're too embarrassed to have premarital sex.
"Virginity tests" are obviously so very horrible from a human rights/every other perspective — it's physically violating and emotionally traumatizing to test girls' hymens (boys can screw around, of course) to make sure they're "pure."
The proposal sounds nonsense as it already is. You can break your hymen doing all kinds of non-sex related stuff.
Thankfully, not everyone is on board with this stupid idea. Indonesian officials on Tuesday dismissed the solution as excessive and unethical.
