This Commercial About China's Single "Letover Women" is Heart-Wrenching and Empowering

SK-II made an ad to remind Chinese women it's okay to be single. Don't let society tell you otherwise. In a documnetary-style commercial, the brand shows traditional attitudes towards marriage and how it puts pressure on single women to find a husband before they reach their late twenties.

"I don't want to get married just for the sake of marriage," says an English translation of one of these messages. "I won't be happy that way."
The four-minute video is part of a larger campaign called "Change Destiny" centering around the traditional cultural attitudes towards women.
