Why do most women feel extremely cold in the office? (Aside from the fact that most offices are really cold.) A study says that office buildings today are kept at temperatures more suitable for the average 1960s man. Also, women produce less body heat, which means they are more likely to feel cold in the office.

Offices are set to a temperature that doesn't take into account how much heat the modern day female body generates.

Researchers confirmed by measuring the metabolic rates of women who worked behind a desk and found all measuring lower than what the 1960s model used.

Women also have less muscle and more fat than the average male.

Muscles are what produce heat.

And we thought it was fat. Guess we were wrong.
