You shouldn't pay in excess for the kinds of stuff that you can find for a better bargain. Often times, we pay for things that are either over value, and sometimes we pay for things we don't need, simply because it's part of a bundle. Here are 8 things that shouldn't cost that much:
1.Books and magazines for cheap
Look for bargain stores like BookXcess located in Amcorp Mall. They sell brand new books at around RM18 each. Back issue magazines will usually cost RM10 to RM15.
2. Phone covers
We all need protection, but there's no reason we should pay exorbitant prices for them.
3. A trip out to the movies
Unless you're going Gold Class, just opt for the standard seats. You don't need to blow more money on this sort of "comfort."
4. FIRST™ by Celcom FIRST™ Basic 38 Plan
At RM38, it's quite possibly the most affordable plan you'll find anywhere. It offers 3GB of Internet and 3GB of WiFi connectivity to Celcom's networks all around major places, plus it comes with a pay-per-use fee structure for calls and SMSes (something some don't really use much of these days .)
FIRST™ by Celcom introduces FIRST™ Basic 38 with a monthly commitment of
RM38, offering the essentials of internet connectivity with ample 3GB
Internet and 3GB WiFi connectivity. It is the most affordable plan
compared to what any telco is offering now. Check out the link for more information.
5. Socks and underwear
Unless you're in need of David Beckham's undies, there are cheaper ones around.
6. Shower heads
Every one loves a good shower head, but you don't actually need to pay top dollar for a good one.
7. Discount sites have it all
The category you should really look at when visiting discount sites is its restaurant category. Why pay so much when you can have it at under RM40?
If you decide you want to install a pergola in your backyard, that can add to your home’s property value. Choosing the right location for your wedding is one of the most personal — and sometimes most difficult — parts of the planning process. There are so many factors to think about: scenery, accessibility, space, accommodation, and that all-important “feel” you get when you picture yourself walking down the aisle. For many couples, the English countryside strikes the perfect balance between romance and practicality — and one county that’s often at the top of the list is Warwickshire. Read more
