D&G Doesn't Think Victoria Beckham Has What it Takes to be a Real Designer

So much shade being thrown everywhere! Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana may be friends of the pop-star-turned-designer, but they don't think she has what it takes to take on the fashion industry.
The founders of D&G were attending the Victoria and Albert Museum's "Glamour Of Italian Fashion" event. When asked by Glamour.com to comment on Beckham's clothing line, the duo had only this to say:
"She's a friend," said Gabbana. "She make a good job but... for us, she don't make the same way like a fashion designer."
Dolce added, "She become after many, many, many different things. She's a designer but..."
"She's a fashion designer but it's another… it's different. John Galliano is a designer… Alexander McQueen."
With "friends" like these, who needs enemies? But something tells us that VB will do just fine in the cut-throat world of fashion. Not only did her latest runway show receive glowing reviews, she's also set to launch her first brick-and-mortar store in London.
