What you're looking at here is a leaked syllabus from an actual course being thought at a real American learning institution.

"The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender, and Media" will be taught by Carolyn Chernoff, Visiting Assistant Professor of Sociology at Skidmore.

So why Miley? According to Chernoff's bio, "I investigate the role of culture in reproducing and transforming social inequality, and research conflict around diversity and difference."

Here's hoping that the students attending the class actually learn something.
