Turns out girl-next-door Zooey Deschanel is quite a bitch on the set of her show New Girl. Apparently, she's not very fun to work with.

As ratings for Zooey Deschanel's hit comedy New Girl have grown, so has her ego. "Zooey is so rude - no one can stand her," says a set insider. "She finds an excuse to gripe about anything, from the temperature to the food to her makeup. She always delays production but throws a huge tantrum if anyone else causes shooting to run behindschedule." While the show is a runaway smash, the crew is reminded of another bratty leading lady who made life on a hit show a living hell...and paid the price. "At the rate she's going," says the insider, "she's going to become the next Katherine Heigl!" (Star)
