Madonna continues to be relevant by messing with technology but saying things as if her foot was in her mouth. She set the Internet on fire when she went on to Instagram and hashtagged the N-word. According to Page Six:
Madonna must have realized it was a bad move for a 55-year-old mom. Moments later, she yanked it.
But she also knocked critics who thought the posting was ­inappropriate and racist.
“Ok, let me start this again. #get off my dick haters!”
She soon removed it after realizing the faux pas and then begged for mercy on social media:
“I am sorry if I offended anyone with my use of the N word on Instagram. It was not meant as a racial slur.. I am not a racist. There’s no way to defend the use of the word. It was all about intention.. It was used as a term of endearment toward my son who is white. I appreciate that it’s a provocative word and I apologize if it gave people the wrong impression. Forgive me.”
