Google Glass Upgrade Will Arrive in Time for the New Year

Google Glass' new model seems identical to the old one and is now available in the same colors. The difference? It is faster and more durable. Users can easily adapt the new model with "upcoming" prescription frames.
Google will be sending the upgraded version of Google Glass starting the week of December 30. They gave owners a one time option to trade in their old Glass units and upgrade to the new model in November. If agreed, they would reserve a spot "in line" for the upgrade with an email to follow up when it is ready.
It will come with a removable earbud because the original bone conducting audio is difficult to hear any loud environments. The company will send current Glass owners who signed up for the upgrade to return their units and said they should expect the new model to arrive three to five days later.
A stable wireless connection supports multiple aspects of daily activities. However, the signal strength may get reduced in distant bedrooms, upper floors or balcony spaces. This happens because the intensity of radio waves reduces as they travel through walls, ceilings and furniture. Most of the standard Wi-Fi routers' coverage stays around 140 to 230 square meters.
