Ex NASA JPL engineer Mark Rober figured out a way to shoot "bullet time" videos on the cheap. He used a ceiling fan, a pair of flashlights and a GoPro camera. Now, he's back with a better set up, this time using a high-end Phantom camera.
The rig uses a scooter motor to spin two mirrors on aluminum arms and shot a mighty 7,200 frames per second. Mark says that this rig has been redesigned about fifteen times over the last few months.
