Briggo the Coffee Making Robot Will Steal a Barista's Job Soon

We'll soon enter an age where robots and machines will be smart enough to replace some jobs. In the futuristic cartoon Jetsons, robots have replaced butlers, servers and housekeepers. So is it any surprise that we're now getting tech like that?
The next job robots are aiming to take away is the Barista. Briggo, is a robotic coffee kiosk, and can make coffee on the same level as a high-end coffee shop's brew.
The machine is the size of a telephone booth and can be installed anywhere. Its walls are made of stainless steel and its interior has got tons of sensors that measure everything from how hot the milk is steamed and the grind to water ratio and more.
Briggo uses brew chambers (those little pods of coffee grinds) to brew each cup individually. This leads to a better cup, since the coffee never has time to grow stagnant. You'll also be able to choose what you want in your coffee, from making lattes to iced coffes and more.
"What we’ve created is in essence a small food factory that absolutely replicates what a champion barista does," says CEO Kevin Nater. "What we find at [the University of Texas] is that we have a younger generation of consumers who have no inhibition about ordering remotely and having self service," says Nater. "Coffee shops are a great social interaction point, but so is social media."
How long more will Baristas be able to keep their jobs?
