Everyone is making a smartwatch. Including Nokia! Here's their concept for a bracelet that has multiple displays. Also, it is kind of weird looking.
The technology for the Nokia Facet just received a patent. Its not clear if Nokia will ever make this, but it's still nonetheless impressive.
There are multiple "facets" as the displays, and they are each running their own applications. You can either turn your wrist to view different apps or slide the bracelet to change the position of the panels.
The concept also calls for gestures that allow you to expand an app to more than one display as well as to quickly collapse them all.
But frankly, it'll have to be a tad more stylish if it ever wants to be a consumer product. One of the challenges is really trying to grasp the idea of having so many displays on your wrist.
