The hammock is cool, and relaxing. But this new version of it really takes the cake. Sierra Madre Research created the Nubé hammock shelter. It elevates campers off the ground while providing shelter from rain and has storage space to house gear. When not in use, it can be tucked away in a backpack. It weighs 2.24 lbs.
A Kickstarter campaign launched in August hopes to get production of the Nubé off the ground. The campaign exceeded its initial $30,000 goal within three days. Check it out in the video below. I want one too even though I'm not a camper myself.
