Design studio Flyte is on a mission to transform the ordinary lightbulb into something unique and beautiful through their latest Kickstarter campaign.



Part art, part science project, Flyte embarked on a journey to set the light bulb free to capture light in it’s most precious moments and prove that minimalist light can be both beautiful and efficient.



To score the stunning campaign imagery, the Flyte crew ventured out in the heart of the winter on the darkest day of the year to launch their statement light bulb into space. A balloon floated to the stratosphere where temperatures drop to -60 C and altitudes reach over 30,000 meters.
