John McAfee is famous for developing his brand name anti-virus software, so needless to say, he might know a thing or two on cracking programs. He publicly volunteered to decrypt the iPhone used by the San Bernardino shooter after a judge ordered Apple to decrypt the phone and Apple subsequently refused.
