At the Mobile World Congress 2016, Vkansee, a Chinese mobile security company demonstrated how easy it was to hack into anyone's iPhone using Play-Doh. All you had to do was use it tor replicate your fingerprint, and you're done. In!

Vkansee CEO, Jason Chaikin, wanted to prove that the current fingerprint sensors used on most popular smartphones are easily susceptible to hacks because they aren't hi-res enough to capture all of the nitty gritty details of unique prints.


He says that most smartphones only capture 500dpi of image resolution, but our optical fingerprint sensor managed to take images of 2000dpi resolution. Check it out:
