Celcom Axiata Berhad, the first and foremost mobile telecommunications provider in the country has launched the new First, a first of its kind personalised Internet and call plan that is set to boost the standard of customer experience to the next level and lets customers discover a whole new world of exclusivity and VIP treatment.
First offers Celcom customers with First Basic and First Elite plans, and is introduced for those who seek convenience, luxury, privileges, and incomparable customer care whenever and wherever Customers’ satisfaction has always been Celcom’s top priority and First is designed to pamper them in a world of exclusive privileges and personalised plans based on their individual needs, making them feel special and valued.
Speaking at the unveiling of First Plan, Zalman Aefendy Zainal Abidin, Chief Marketing Officer of Celcom Axiata Berhad, said, “First reflects Celcom’s commitment in delivering the best customer experience to our customers who are constantly looking for the highest standard of mobile experience to surf the Internet and stay connected with their family and friends.
“The distinctive and exclusive features of First are created to reach out to our premium and mobile-savvy customers to complement their privileged, fast-paced and sophisticated lifestyles. With this hassle-free plan, we are able to provide them with greater convenience and flexibility to continuously utilise their mobile phones based on their monthly usage behaviour.
First demonstrates how it is able to accommodate customers’ needs and preferences, and offer them a personalised experience that is uniquely theirs. We are confident that First will create a better experience for our customers and most importantly, live up to our promise of putting our customers first, above all others,” Zalman added.
The First Basic plan includes OPTIMISERTM that automatically provides additional free monthly Internet and voice usage by recognising customers’ monthly usage behaviour. With First Basic, customers will automatically be getting more Internet, voice or SMS based on whichever service that they use more every month. Customers who use more Internet will automatically receive more data while those who utilise more voice and SMS will obtain more voice and SMS at no additional cost. By subscribing to First Basic at RM85 per month, customers who use more voice and SMS will get 250 minutes talk time, 250 SMS with 2GB Internet and 2GB WIFI. If customers use more Internet, they will receive 4GB Internet, 4GB WIFI, 100 minutes talk time and 100 SMS.
Customers on the First Basic plan will have the privileged of becoming a member of Club Celcom First and get to enjoy exclusive membership rewards. Under the First 1+5 supplementary plan, new subscribers will also have the opportunity to subscribe to five supplementary lines at RM30 each which comes with free calls between the principal line and the other supplementary lines in the
group. Existing customers will have the option of upgrading to First Basic soon.
Meanwhile, the First Elite plan consists of First Elite Platinum and gives customers the best of everything that Celcom has to offer. The plan welcomes customers into a world of exclusive privileges that only a few get to experience including Second SIM whereby they will receive another number in addition to the principal line. Customers’ principal line can be with either Internet OPTIMISERTM or Calls and SMS OPTIMISERTM for a monthly commitment of RM235.
Principal lines with Internet OPTIMISERTM will enjoy up to 200 minutes talk time, 200 SMS and 5GB Internet while their Second SIM has a fixed amount of 200 minutes talk time, 200 SMS and 3GB Internet. The total allocation of voice and Internet for both SIM cards is 400 minutes talk time, 400 SMS and 8GB Internet.
Customers with Calls and SMS OPTIMISERTM principal lines will get 500 minutes talk time, 500 SMS and 3GB Internet while their Second SIM covers a fixed amount of 200 minutes talk time, 200 SMS and 3GB Internet. In total, customers for both SIM cards will enjoy 700 minutes talk time, 700 SMS and 6GB Internet.
As First Elite customers, they can choose their Preferred Numbers of their choice from a select list of VIP numbers for the two SIM cards to make them stand out from the rest. Customers will also experience privileges including Personalised Customer Service and Privilege Assistance at Blue Cube and Celcom Centres, and be the first to reserve and own all the latest devices on launch day with Priority Access. Additionally, customers can indulge in light refreshments at The Lounge at KLIA2 as they receive personalised services for all their telco needs.
