Google's self-driving car can really hack highways. But how does it cruise around streets? The latest update from the company suggests that the vehicle just got some upgrades in development.
In an official Google Blog post, the director of the self-driving car program, Chris Urmson talks about the car's latest capabilities. It can now detect hundreds of distinct objects simultaneously. That includes pedestrians, buses, stop signs from a crossing guard, cyclists and more.
