Aero-Static Dome Gets Anchored Down Using Nike's Flyknit Technology

Now that's what we call an imposing dome. Inspired by the aerodynamics of Leonardo da Vinci’s triangular parachute, as well as Alexander Graham Bell’s tetrahedral kite, this Aero-Static Dome serves as a centerpiece for the world premiere of the Kobe 9 Elite Low HTM collection at Design Week in Milan.
Arthur Huang, the founder of sustainable design agency Miniwiz, came up with the idea to install the massive metallic-colored structure above the centuries-old Palazzo Clerici. The whole thing is anchored to the ground by Nike’s proprietary Flyknit material and nine glass capsules containing the aforementioned sneakers.
It is probably safe to say that the vast majority of us appreciate being able to safely go about our business. We are not looking to cause trouble or have it find us.
