It has been a week and ghost plane Flight 370 is still missing. It's almost like taking a page out of Lost. Many countries have joined in the effort to help search for the plane, and some of these efforts involve satellites.

Mapbox has been mapping the footprints of all the major satellite providers over the last six days. The interactive map below will give you a good sense of just how vast the search area is.

According to reports now, the plane flew towards the Indian Ocean. Let's hope they find it soon.
