Here's a table that looks seemingly impossible. Does it deny physics? Apparently not. Designer Toni Grilo's gravity-defying looking coffee table does look like it is going to fall over, but it won't.

Dubbed the Lithos Table, it is actually very hard to topple. It is made from pieces of black veined aziza marble, and on the inside, it is engineered to be light and incredibly stable thanks to a counterbalance system no one sees.



The table is available from Haymann, though no pricing details have been announced. But of course, expect to pay top dollar for something that won't topple over.
