Canon Gets Compact With The PowerShot G1 X Mark II

The PowerShot G1 X Mark II is the successor to Canon's high-end compact PowerShot G1 X camera. Features include a 1.5″ CMOS sensor, faster F2.0-3.9 lens, a 31-point AF system, a touchscreen LCD, and a more compact body.
There are other additional goodies as well, including dual lens rings, built in Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. The only downside is that the camera now lacks an optical viewfinder, because who actually looks through that when taking a photo these days?
The PowerShot G1 X Mark II will be out at select retailers launches in April 2013, retails for $799 USD.
