1. Aromatherapy

It has been known for centuries that oils derived from certain plants have remarkable healing powers and that, when inhaled, can treat many different ailments and health issues.  This is now commonly known as Aromatherapy and is one of the most popular new therapeutic rediscoveries.

One of the earliest plant oils employed as a medicine was Eucalyptus oil.  It has been used for centuries as an antiseptic to treat minor cuts and wounds, insect bites, and skin infections, due to its antibacterial capabilities.  

It was subsequently discovered that the aroma from Eucalyptus oil was effective in treating respiratory disquiet such as asthma and sinusitis, especially when added to water used to make steam that was subsequently inhaled into the sufferer’s lungs.

The leaves of Kratom trees, common to Southeast Asia, have aromas that are said to produce a calm and serene feeling in agitated persons.  Along with stress relief, this Kratom aroma also has an invigorating effect on many, along with relieving aches and pains.

2. Green Tea Remedies

Polyphenols are micronutrients that contain antioxidants in forms that are easily absorbed.  Due to the unique nature of their biological interface with our bodies, there are many potential health benefits from ingesting polyphenols.  These include aiding digestion, cardiovascular benefits and even treating diabetes.  

Green tea is packed with natural polyphenols, more than most other types of tea because it is made from Camellia sinensis leaves that have not undergone the same withering and oxidation process used to make oolong, black and most other types of teas.  So no matter how you consume green tea, as either a traditionally brewed liquid, or as ice cream or even in maccha chocolate, the healing effect of this wonderful nutrient is present, active and continuing in all its different forms.

3. Halotherapy Total Salt Immersion

People with asthma, chronic sinus infections, have found a new healing method called Halotherapy.  This treatment takes place in a Himalayan salt room, where you are totally immersed in a concentrated, sodium chloride, aerosol environment.  The air in this room is so thick with salt that there is normally about a 2-inch thick layer of fine salt on the floor.
