Decked out in similar black-and-white themed suits, the South Korean boyband Super Junior-M arrived in Taiwan today for their two fan meetings, and promised to interact with their fans with the most exciting performances they can give.

Taiwanese actress-singer Ariel Lin also appeared at the news conference today, bringing pipagao (traditional Chinese medicine for the throat) with her as a gift. In return, member Donghae presented her with a ticket for the Fan Party, and even addressed her as “Dear Baby”.

The Chinese sub-unit of Super Junior, Super Junior-M is comprised of Korean members Siwon, Kyuhyun, Ryeowook as well as Chinese members Hangeng, Henry and Zhoumi. For their very first fan meet, they will be performing 10 exquiste songs, as well as play games with their fans. They will be staying for 6 days and five nights.

When posed with the question “Whose Chinese is the best?” during the conference, all of the other six members simultaneously turned to Siwon. Laughingly replying in Chinese, Siwon explained that actually everyone is able to understand Chinese; it’s just that they find it hard to express their thoughts and feelings in the language well.

In a show of support for SJ-M, Ariel Lin, who had previously filmed a MV with Donghae and Siwon, appeared at the conference with pipagao in hand. She also expressed that they must take care of their throats while in Taiwan, so that they can give their fans the best performance that SJ-M is able to deliver.

SJ-M also gave Ariel merchandise in return, and Donghae even intimately addressed her as “Dear Baby”, making Ariel blush furiously.

Will the Fan Party have any surprises in store for fans? Leader Hangeng replied that all of the members have prepared individual acts, and the fans will find out firsthand when they turn up for the Fan Party.

The two sessions of SJ-M’s Fan Party will be held on the 5th of December, 7PM, and 6th of December, 2PM, at the Taipei International Convention Centre.
