Sunmi's agency JYP Entertainment have revealed what Sunmi has been doing recently, "Sunmi often visits the company these days. It has been a long time since she last came here, and she often visits and hangs out with the trainees and practice with them and share stories. Sometimes, she would even greet fans and autograph for them in front of the company's building" The official said.

He followed, "To be honest, since she has been active with the Wonder Girls in the previous years, she has failed to prepare much for her studies and lacked preparation, But she has now focused on her studies more and has been studying hard for her SAT exams".

The official also revealed what the future plans are of Sunmi. "She will not be active with the Wonder Girls for now, she will be studying and majoring in Arts after her SAT exams, and she will be preparing as much as possible for her studies, she will be taking up proficiency exams and she is doing her best preparing for them, we will do our best to help her as well".

Sunmi left temporarily the Wonder Girls back in 2009 when the group was active in the U.S., After she left, she revealed that she wanted to stop her activities for now with Wonder Girls surprising fans, and the reason why is because she wanted to continue and focus in her studies.

Since then, New member Hye Rim filled in her spot, but Sunmi still shares a close relationship with her members and would occasionally exchange messages on Twitter.

Sunmi has passed her GED exams last May and she will be preparing for her SAT exams and college entrance exams afterwards.
