Korean singer Shin Hye-sung will hold his solo concert in Korea next month, his first performance in the country in a year and a half.
A press release from PR firm The J Story on Thursday announced that the singer will take the stage at AX-Korea in Seoul for his concert titled "Close To You" on December 4 and 5.
He will perform new arrangements of his songs with an acoustic and string band as well as introduce new tracks from his album, which will be released in mid-November.
"I get very nervous just thinking about performing in front of my fans in Korea and I am working hard to prepare a great concert for them," Shin was quoted as saying.
Shin, whose real name is Jung Pil-kyo, made his debut as the lead vocalist for the popular boy band Shinhwa in 1998. He embarked on a solo singing career in May 2005, releasing several albums in Korea as well as branching out into the Japanese music market.
Tickets for Shin's concert "Close To You" will be available starting online tonight.
