We close our eyes for a while and a new idol has born. This is idol’s golden generation. We call them idols, but everyone is different.
They debut with ‘Clap’, introducing some attractive choreography. But now they’re back with ‘Supa Luv’, with an even more attractive choreography. They are showing charisma on the stage but they showed their shy boy image when they were talking. These guys has a lot of charms. C.A.P, Chunji, Niel, Changjo, Ricky, and L.Joe. Q. Nice to meet you guys, TEEN TOP. Please introduce yourself to Bugs reader before we start the interview.

A. Hello! We’re the Emotional Teen Pop Band, TEEN TOP.
Changjo: I’m TEEN TOP’s dancing boy, Changjo.
C.A.P: I’m TEEN TOP’s leader, C.A.P.
Chunji: I’m TEN TOP’s power voice, Chunji.
Niel: I'm TEEN TOP's emotional vocal, Niel.
L.Joe: I'm TEEN TOP's bad boy rapper, L.Joe
Ricky: I'm TEEN TOP's lovely Ricky.

Q. You released your 2nd single album called [Transform]. While you’re preparing for this album, which part did you focus on?

A. Changjo: Regarding choreography, we practiced a lot on our ‘cyborg’ concept. Because we emphasized on that part on stage.
Niel: Not only choreography. We also practiced mechanical voice to emphasized that ‘cyborg’ feeling in the song.

Q. What is the biggest difference between your 1st single and 2nd single?

A. Changjo: Well first, I think we showed our personalities (each of them) even more on stage for this album.
Niel: And I think our cooperation are even better now. When we’re matching our choreography in ‘Clap’, we’re a little ahead of our personal opinions. But in ‘Supa Luv’, I think we can understand each other more. We can coordinate well and even share our own know-how. So it was even easier.

Q. Eric starred in ‘Supa Luv’ MV. It’s a big news. Are you guys usually close to him?

A. Niel: There’s none of us (that’s close to him in personal). But with the help of Andy-hyung who chose us, we were able to get senior-Eric to star in our MV.
Q. While preparing for this album, we heard Niel even get a leg injury. How could that happen? We’re curious.

A. Niel: We practiced a lot for our choreography that is very powerful. After some time, I just realized that my knee was worn out. So after that, they have to practice without me for a while.

Q. We heard that you guys have a dance practice for 12 hours per day. Don’t you have any ‘black-hole’ in your members? (regarding choreography)^^

A. L.Joe: (After all the members picked him) Well first, I also wanted to pick my self. I learned dance a little later than everyone. I’m lacking a lot if you compare me with the other members. So I’m working hard even right now. My goal is to practice a lot and make an amazing stage.

Q. We can feel the confidence and affection in 'Supa Luv' lyrics. Usually, do you guys often expressed your heart easily to opposite bang?

A. L.Joe: First, let’s not include our youngest kids here. (laugh) I’m curious about C.A.P-hyung, who’s going to be an adult next year.
C.A.P: Unlike my appearance, I’m not someone who’s good at expressing my self. I can’t do that kind of things.
Niel: Me too. In our groups, I think everyone are passive.
L.Joe: I have never been like that in front of opposite band, so I don’t know about the other members.

Q. Now I’m curious about TEEN TOP’s ideal-type of opposite band.

A. Changjo: My ideal-type is someone who acts cute alot and cute in appearance. And I also like someone who looks pretty when they smile.
C.A.P:I like someone who’s charming and has their very own personality. Also someone who likes rap.
Chunji: I like someone who has a long straight hair and double eyelid.
Niel: I like someone who’s nice and good-tempered.
L.Joe: I like someone who’s cute and acts cute alot.
Ricky: Me too. I like someone who acts cute a lot. I like someone who will understands me.
[*acts cute = aegyo = cute in a good way = act pretty]

Q. You guys are active in Twitter and Me2day. Also often contact with your fans through message and others. Which member is the most sensitive about fans’ respond?

A. L.Joe: (All members picked him and he’s surprised) Ah, this is really surprising. Basically I just want to communicate with the fans ^^ I also want to show our daily images to our fans.

Q. You guys are so popular these days. By any chance, is there any fan who’s memorable for you?

A. Niel: Everyone is memorable. So I think it will be hard to say one of those memories.
Chunji: But still, I think the most memorable one is those who shout the biggest.
L.Joe: More than everything, our genre now is more to POP so we searched a lot for US videos, try to copy it and worked hard on it.
