Gagman Kim Gu Ra made a joke about idol group Beast which was not taken well as a joke , making it a hot topic of discussion.
On the 15th February broadcast of KBS2TV’S Win Win, during the Speed Question segment, Kim Gu Ra was asked,” You have been on the same program with Lee Kikwang for one year, please list down the names of all the members of Beast.”
Kim Gu Ra smoothly stated the names of Lee Kikwang and Yoon Doojoon but he pronounced Yang Yoseob’s name as Yo “Cep” and wrongly called Yong Junhyung as Yong Jun. His mistakes made the audience laugh.
In the end, he was eliminated. He then said, ” Actually is there really the need to know the names of all the Beast members?” , expressing his disappointment at being eliminated.
Lee Kikwang who was panicked by his statement asked, ” Why do you say so?” Kim Gu Ra answered, ” Isn’t it so?” , turning the audience into a sea of laughter.
Netizens who watched the program left comments like , ” This is a Kim Gu Ra style joke! ” , ” Even if it is a joke, it will make fans unhappy ” , ” Even if you want to make a joke, you shouldn’t go so far as to make it embarassing. ” , ” It was only a joke.”
