A representative of YGE said, "Ever since they were trainees, we have been together for 10 years already and on 7th, the members of BIGBANG have renewed their contracts with YG."

He continued, "BIGBANG members and YGE are just like a family when we are together. Since they debuted, the agency has planted trust and confidence in them and we are thankful to them too. We are very pleased that we can satisfy what the fans want- BIGBANG can keep on being active under this name for a long time." He said it with a huge smile spread on his face.

After 5 years of getting together, most popular groups would be disbanded or stopped being active due to the conflicts among members or friction between the company and the members. However, BIGBANG has broken this curse and all of the rumors ceased because of the contract renewal.

After the 2 years and 3 months hiatus, BIGBANG has comeback after their solo and duo activities which showed how well they can digest different music styles. They proved that such kind of rumors about the disbanding of the idol groups are false.
