Travis Blackley a baseball player for the Kia Tigers recently inquired about Kahi on his twitter account. After seeing Kahi pitch for the Doosan Bears he took to his twitter and asked his followers, “What was the name of the girl that threw the first pitch out the other night? I guess she’s a famous singer?”.
A big part of what drew Kahi to him was the fact that he likes “that she has a tattoo!” Once Kahi’s fans realized who Travis was referring to they promptly sent him information about her including links to pictures and videos of her performing. Once Travis looked at the pics he replied, “Good pics, She is very pretty! I didn’t get to see her up close, so I just see now”.
After listening to Kahi’s music Travis tweeted, “I like the singers voice. I normally like the music a little more extreme (heavier). It’s good though!”. Fans then mischievously asked him if he was motivated by Kahi and was she who his ‘shout-out’ was towards during the game he recently played in. Instead of denying it was Kahi, Travis jokingly tweeted “It may have been then”. Though he later confirmed he was lovingly sending a ‘shout-out’ to his son, family, friends and fans.
