2PM’s Taecyeon will debut as an actor in Japan.

Taecyeon has been cast in the new Fuji TV drama "Me and My Star’s 99 days". The drama will premier on October 23rd.

"Me and My Star’s 99 Days" is about the secret romance between an A-list Korean actress Han Yoona (Kim Tae Hee) and her body guard played by actor Nishijima Hidetoshi. Taecyeon will play the role of Taesung, a character with a mysterious past with Han Yoona.

In the drama, Taesung is a character that had to give up on his dreams, because of untold circumstances that will most likely be revealed as the drama progresses. He knows of a big secret that he’s keeping to himself. The secret will later involve a paparazzi (Kaname Jun) into the lives of the two main characters and Taecyeon will greatly influence the storyline.

Taecyeon has proven his acting skills appearing in Korean dramas such as "Cinderella’s Sister" and "Dream High".
